Spring Mini Sessions

Spring is coming, and it’s a great time to celebrate with updated family portraits! Come on out for a mini-session this spring to capture the joy of togetherness and surviving a long winter! Mini sessions are $75 and last 20-25 minutes. They include family shots and individual shots of each child, full resolution shots delivered electronically.

Our first Spring Mini Session is Saturday, March 20th and Sunday, March 21st! These photos will be delivered ahead of Easter so you can celebrate the Easter season with an updated photo!

  • Saturday, March 20th - Oakhurst Forest Preserve, Aurora

    • 30 Minute Timeslots available 10am-4pm

  • Sunday, March 21st - McCullough Park, Aurora

    • 30 Minute Timselots available 1pm-4pm

Fall Family Photo Fundraiser: World Relief Chicagoland

Each Fall, I enjoy getting to meet so many new families and individuals taking advantage of the beautiful autumn leaves to get some updated photos! As a way to celebrate fall photos this year, I am excited to announce that 25% of all session costs will be donated to World Relief Chicagoland from now until the end of November 2020!

For those of you unfamiliar with this organization, World Relief partners with the local community and Church to serve refugees and immigrants in the community. World Relief is dear and near to my heart for many reasons, including that I have the gift of working there in volunteer mobilization.

I am looking forward to capturing you amidst the gift of this season and empowering the refugee and immigrant community through your photo session. Contact me today to book!

There are a lot of decisions for parents to make as they look at what this next year of school holds for them and their kids, and golly, my heart just goes out to you all! There is no easy answer and no simple solution that works perfectly for every family. So, to try to make some lemonade out of this sour season, I’m offering a back to school discount with two features! This will run through Labor Day weekend.

  • Discounted Kid Portrait Sessions ($50) - I’ll meet you at your house or a nearby park or preserve for portraits of each of your kids, plus one family photo if desired. The end of a summer is great time to capture kid portraits and give you a nice back-to-school fresh photo. You’ll receive 5+ images of each child, full resolution for you to download.

  • 25% Teacher Discount - All teachers and school staff can take 25% off any of my standard session prices as a thank you for navigating the ups and downs that are coming with these new school year ahead. You are appreciated!

Family Photo Porch Sessions Fundraiser

I have been so encouraged by seeing so many households embrace creativity in this season of staying home! And golly, that is something to celebrate! So, in honor of surviving this season so far, I’m launching household porch sessions for just $20! We’ll keep these going as long as the shelter in place is going!

We’ll take socially distance photos from 6-ft apart and capture the beauty of this season - togetherness at your home! Even this season, amidst a lot of chaos and feelings, deserves to be captured. The session will take 10-15 minutes, and you’ll receive all edited images digitally. Contact me via my contact page, email, or phone to schedule your session!

I am humbled by this time of life, where I have the gift of working from home, and I would like to use these sessions to partner with those helping others in this season. I’ll be donating half of the profits of the porch sessions to World Relief DuPage/Aurora, a local organization close to my heart. World Relief empowers immigrants and refugees in our neighborhoods to thrive in the US, and these populations are particularly vulnerable during this crisis.

Fall Family Photos Adoption Fundraiser

Some dear friends of mine are in the midst of adopting a young one, and they are working to raise funds for the many different expenses in the adoption process. As a way to partner with them, I’m excited to announce that this fall, I’ll be hosting fall family photo sessions where half the profits from the session cost (see investment cost) will be going to the adoption fund. These weekends will not only be a chance to capture the beauty of your own family, but also partner with a family that’s growing.

The weekends I’ll be hosting these fundraising photo sessions are:

  • September 14th & 15th - Oakhurst Forest Preserve (Aurora)

  • September 28th & 29th - Fabyan Forest Preserve (Batavia)

  • October 12th & 13th - Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve (Naperville)

Any sessions scheduled during that time will mean half the cost of the session will be donated directly to the adoption fundraiser, which I will coordinate for your convenience. To celebrate this fundraiser kicking off, the family you have the opportunity to partner with and I got together for some family photos.
